Shahrukh Khan, even known as the Badshah of Bollywood and King Khan was born on November 2nd, 1965. He is an applauded as a born actor and is a Scorpion by his sun sign. Shahrukh khan is highly praised for his profession of acting and has ventured a bit in producing the films. SRK is 5ft 9” tall and will weigh around 65 kilos.He is a critically acclaimed television host and has also hosted film award giving functions in India and abroad
Shahrukh’s personnel life
Shahrukh Khan was born to Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima who belonged to the Pathan ethnicity. Taj Mohammed was a freedom fighter and Lateef Fatima was an adopted daughter of Major Gen. Shah Nawaz Khan who served the Indian National Army of the great freedom fighter Subash Chandra Bose. After the partition of India, Taj Mohammed with his two children Shenaz and Shahrukh came back to India and settled in New Delhi.
Shahrukh Khan is also called as SRK by his near and dear and has an elder sister named Shehnaz. SRK completed his school education in St. Columbia’s school, New Delhi where he was a gem in Sports, Drama and academics. The school also awarded SRK with a sword which is given to the student who excels in studies and other extra curricular activities. In the year 1985 SRK joined Hansraj College in New Delhi. Later on in the year 1988 he joined the in the Jamia Millia Islamia College to complete the masters degree in Mass communications. But till then the acting bug was induced into his blood and so took the acting career as profession.
Unfortunately in the year 1991, King Khan moved to Mumbai which is also called as a city of dreams. King Khan married Gauri Khan in the year 1991 before his acting career took off. Gauri was his girlfriend from childhood and the two were in love for about 10 full years. She is 5 elder to SRK and is a Hindu. The marriage took place in Hindu wedding style ceremony on October 25th, 1991. Till today Shahrukh and Gauri obey and follow both Muslim and Hindu customs and pray to the Hindu gods with Quran placed beside the Hindu god idols. SRK and Gauri are blessed with two children son Aryan who is 11 years old and Suhana who is just 8 years in age.
In April 2007, SRK’s wax statue is on display at the Madame Tussads wax museum in London. In the year 2008, a red carpet welcome was given in Berlin for the King of Bollywood.
Acting career
Khan took the training in the acting school of Theatre Director Barry John in New Delhi and the name of the acting school was Theater Action Group. Then in the year 1988 Shahrukh started his acting career with the television serial “Fauji” which was aired on Doordarshan. He was praised for his acting skills in a role of Commando Abhimanyu Rai. Consecutively King Khan appeared in another television serial named “Circus” in the year 1989. Then in the year 1991 Shahrukh got his first acting break in a film titled “Deewana”. This was a blockbuster movie which fetched him accolades. In the same year he did “Maya Memsaab” which had a sex scene in it. he won critical acclaims from many directors and co-stars of Bollywood. He made his acting carrier perpetuating by acting as a villain in “Darr” and “Baazigarr”. These two films were super hits and won him Film fare awards.
